Welcome to Brother Sauraab Sen

On Wednesday 28th May 2008, Brother Sauraab Sen declared his testimony of faith (shahadah) at the IslamBradford Centre.

A friend who had been giving da’wah to him earlier that day brought Sauraab to the IslamBradford Centre. Sauraab, although originally of the Hindu faith, had lived for many years amongst Muslims and by spending time with Muslims, had come to identify more and more with Islam.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 28th May he came to the IslamBradford Centre where an IslamBradford staff member explained the basics tenets of Islamic belief to him. When asked if he accepted these beliefs he replied, “yes” and thereafter repeated his shahadah and thus entered Islam.

The following Friday, Brother Sauraab was introduced, after the Jummuah khutbah (Friday sermon), to the congregation and received a warm welcome from all present.

We ask Allah to give him strength and keep him firm upon Islam and give the Muslim community the motivation to support him, in any needs he may have and also keep him in good company. Watch this space for more shahadas coming soon inshAllah….
