Rush to Prayer

It’s been close to twenty years since we founded IB and almost ten years since we opened the doors at 1 City Road. (How time flies!)

To mark these major milestones, we have undertaken a review of the centre concept and decided to better demarcate the “masjid” in our centre.

The brothers’ ground floor prayer hall is currently undergoing some minor, but inshallah impactful, changes as part of this “repurposing” exercise.

New features will include a mihrab (niche where the Imam stands in prayer), matching bookcases, spotlights, and clear masjid signage.

To launch the masjid officially, we will be holding a small event on Sunday 10 November titled “𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫” (حي علي الصلاة) to highlight some of the Islamic rulings relating to the adhan (call to prayer) and the masjid, through the statements of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
